Collection Notes: The exact site where the specimen was collected must be specified. Acceptable eye specimens include: conjunctiva, eyelid, cornea, aqueous or vitreous sample. Corneal scrapings must be inoculated in bacteriological media at the collection site. Call the laboratory for additional instructions. Susceptibility testing will be performed at an additional charge.
